A touch of baker's twine, red glitter and embossed white hearts added the finishing touches. I found a Valentine stamp sentiment that fit the banner. I had to bend the clear stamp on the acrylic block a little to get that curved look. I pop dotted carefully around the bakers twine to get the right dimensional look I wanted.

Chikadee's & Love
I've been watching my chickadee's at the birdfeeder this snowy morning so they inspired me to try making them with my punch. I went with a love theme which could be anniversary, birthday, valentine's etc.. and used grey, pink and white for colors..I embossed the white cardstock background with a heart pattern. I used leaves from a Tim Holtz strip die that has a variety of leaves on it.

Lacey Valentine Hearts
I used a spellbinder set of Lacey Hearts to create this square card. An old quickutz cupid die that I glittered up along with buttons, twine, & a paper flower. The "adore" card I believe is maya road and the polka dot paper is BoBunny (cute on both sides). I added chocolate brown as a layering color.
More BoBunny pink paper for this card combined with Chocolate brown cardstock. A Martha Stewart border punch for the sides. The gauzey ribbon is pink and white polka dots and the small heart I bought at the Front Desk. I added a chocolate brown paper key to the inside with the sentiment "I Love You" using a stamp.

Christmas 2014...
I like to spend my time off during the holidays being crafty. Even though my cards are gone in the mail for this year I still like to take advantage of the Christmasy feeling (lights, decorations, music) and lack of a deadline to inspire me. Being a crafter there is never enough time to make all the things I'd like to this time of year. So, I start on a few of next years projects before moving on. I also received some new crafty items as gifts this year from my husband and mom so I had to try them out. Above is a quick card done in grey, silver, red and white. The ivy scroll is done in white glittered cardstock. Deck the Halls is cut on the silhouette and I placed it an angle. A Martha Stewart border punch created the red edge.
The fence is stamped in black on white cardstock and cut out and glued to a card base. The bird and word "joy" was cut on my silhouette machine and a Tim Holtz die cut the pine branch. I added some black brads to the fence to make it look more realistic. the last touch was some stickles dots to the top to make it look like it was snowing.
Love you...
Sometimes a great color combination can be the highlight of your card. Its nice to come up with a card that is so pretty and not take lots of tools. I just used cardstock and added a stamped sentiment and felt that was all it needed. This card could be used for various occasions if you change up the colors.

Valentine file folders....
Some cute mini file folders to hold a treat inside. They fit the individually wrapped square Ghiradelli chocolates perfectly. This would also be great for a wedding favors with the date of the wedding or the couples name.
Dig out your punches, stamps, twine, and glitter and see what you can create. I just found a cupid to add to another one.
