Cup of Cheer !!!

Opening the card - You can see the front of the card is shorter than the back.  I added red ribbon and used a snowflake embossing folder to spruce up the white background front.

Version 2 of a Christmas mini album...

A second version of the same mini album with the truck on it..  It was so fun making these !  I couldn't resist using an older 6 x 6 mini paper pad this time and adding these cute deer stickers to my cover.  The snowbank is a stitched die from Lawn Fawn.
There are two spines on this mini.. I used the pink stripes for contrast.

Back cover - added some sparkle to the paper withs stickles.

I used my new icicle die and added just a touch of stickles to some of the icicles hanging down...

Christmas Delivery Mini

Tri fold mini album made out of chipboard that also can be made with just cardstock.  Quick project for gift giving.

Pull out pocket pages that creates 4 additional pages.I decided to wait to do more decorating after the photos are added in.
Love the plaids..!Flip pages with a word sticker.

Back cover and spines are covered with the white plaid paper.
Flat stickers from the sticker sheet and a sizzix die cut tree create the cover.  I splatter painted the trees to create the snowy look using an old toothbrush.

Cute Santa....

Here's the result of my new Santa die.  I used a stitched circle die and a scallop circle die to pair up for a background to pop the Santa off from the red background.  I chose grey as its the in color plus it was used to bring out the detail in his beard.  I dug out my snow pen and used the heat gun to create the 3D look and added glitter for some sparkle.
Such a friendly cute Santa !... Red Gingham background paper is one of my favorites all year round.  I found the perfect sentiment  - Holly Jolly die for my card...

Getting ready ...

Love this card.  I have a new embossing folder that has snowflakes smaller in scale and closer together to create a real snowy feeling.  I used dies and punches to create the snowman, greeting, and snowflake.  A touch of bling to the center of the snowflake finished it off.  I also used my white gel pen to perk up the scarf a little !

Fall card series ...

Getting ready for a crafty girls day... thinking this card series would be perfect to make.  I loved pulling out fall papers, dies, and twine.  The layering and shading makes such a difference.

My stitched circle dies were such a great gift I received.  I really love the dies and find they are a go to as a basic that I would recommend as a purchase.  I used a sizzix long strip die to make the small leaves.  I ended up cutting out several colors at once so I can create a pile of leaves to let everyone dive into.
I loved the fact that this stamp set also came with a few sayings to create a complete card. There is also a set of coordinating dies to cut out the mice. With a little creativity these stamps can be re purposed for the Holidays, Valentine's Day and Birthday.  I love making things we buy stretch for different purposes... I think I will try an alternate version when we get together in a holiday theme.

Lovely as a Flower - layered stamps.

I used a large embossing folder with a small weave look.  Gold dotted washi tape for the glitz on the bottom of the card.

I needed different shades of pink and green inks that go together.  Glad I purchased the matching die.

I added some sparkle and pop dots...

Ice Cream Truck

Wish there was a truck that still made the rounds !    This truck is so versatile... and fun to color.

I scream you scream for ice cream !!!

Great stamp and die set for so many occasions.  I've been busy making summer cards and have more to come.  My only complaint is gluing the itty bitty sprinkles on !

Bike Riding

Riding the rail trails - so I made a card to remind me of my favorite rides this summer and fun times on the trails.  I love the quiet countryside and seeing things from a new angle.  I never leave home without my basket as you may find a treasure along the way !

New Album style ..in the works.

Finished an album a couple of weeks ago so decided to start a rainy day project.  Its been nice weather so I've been busy outside these days and doing some new crafts (knitting/sewing) kind of mutlitasking. This gatefold page came together nicely and met in the middle perfectly.

Liking how quick the inner pages are coming together.  So nice when things go smoothly and the base goes together so fast.

Section one is done ! Now for the cover and the last page which I have a precut, scored, and ready to go.   Love trying all the new style albums.  Thinking of making some base albums in multiples and then choosing papers.

Bunny time !

Sewed these cute bunnies to add as basket fillers.  So cute on the shelf too.  They are fast and easy and take very little material.  You can make them in various sizes and materials.

Sewing bunnies!

Spring Chicken ??

Spring is around the corner... so I dug out my embossing folder and waterproof inks. A little fussy cutting that was pretty easy.

Playing with some watercolor today...Its really fun but I noticed some colors are easier than others.  I find reds a little hard to perfect. This stamp set is so versatile and has a sense of humor !
