Vintage Bunny....for Spring or Easter

A vintage rabbit that I couldn't resist creating a card with.
I wanted to create a spring look but it had red in the edge and I didn't want it to look Valentiney (although this would be a cute look with red).  So, I let the brown of his fur and the blue sky lead me. I used a spellbinder die and kraft cardstock to create the frame.  I created a pleated strip of paper for the bottom of the card and inked it up to make it look older.  A touch of gingham ribbon, twine and a button.

Baking time....

What a cute gift box for someone that loves to cook or bake.  The entire top comes off  and is a nice size box for cookie cutter, kitchen gadget, spices or a food gift inside. This was a fairly quick project once you picked your papers and colors.

I had to add some curled black wire to make it look like burner coils. I also glued some small buttons to accent the knob area. I have also seen this altered where the oven door is cut to open and a gift box slides out.  Once I get better with the program I will have to try that version of  it.

Happy Easter ! ! !

All dressed up for Easter.  Blue bow tie or ....

striped bow tie? He also looks cute with no bow if you want it more feminine.  I used some pink dot on dot Bo bunny paper and a scrap of green from my stash for the background.  Spellbinders, sizzix strip die letters, circle punch, etc.. were used to  create this card.

Envelope punch board boxes...

Playing with my envelope punch board and trying all the different boxes and other things it can make.  The large polka dot box has two ways it can open.  If you had to plan a party you could make the table so pretty with matching gift boxes.

Love this green paper that comes in polka dots and stripes by Canvas Corp. I had to add a touch of white feathers as I was thinking of spring.

An arched box top with paper bow.  Thinking if I made it taller it could be a recipe box....

Love this style box.  Its fun to think of all the ways to decorate the boxes and what could go inside....

My cup of Tea ....

A gift all by itself - holds tea bags but also perfect for Girhadelli chocolate squares in those little packages.... I always try to think of who is receiving the gift when I pick a color /paper. So, who loves red???  This would make a cute Mother's Day or Valentine's day gift.

Tea Cup is from Cricut & the half circle is a Spellbinder Die to create a doily/tablecloth look. This has some depth to it...

I was also thinking of making a space on the left for a large pull out tag to hold a photo or recipe for making you own tea variety. The heart and borders are punches by Martha  Stewart.

This is a nice sturdy cup and saucer to hold a gift - thinking maybe I will put chocolates or seed packets inside.  You even make the spoon !   Now I am thinking about trying the tea pot ....
