On Pins and Needles...

Getting to the final stages.  Adding the binding to two edges.  Love my clips.. so much easier than pinning.
First 30" double zipper...

Inside double zipper pockets on each side.

Quilted the fabric and used foam between the layers to give it some body. The fabric was from my trip to Maine.

Stuffed Valentine Pocket and flip album

Easy and quick flip album.  I used just cardstock from 6 x 6 paper pad for the pages and one 12x 12 for the envelope pocket.

Alternating page album

Cover, hinge, flaps, pull outs, pockets - entire base album done in an afternoon.

Seems like one of our first real chilly days and we have snow now.  I decided to take a break from sewing to start a new album.  Its been busy doing contact tracing and I mentally needed some crafty time to ground me again.  I can't believe how fast this is going together which makes it exciting when things can be assembled quickly.
Cover and hinges are done.

Inside pages are attached.  They alternate in direction/height.  Great size for standard photos.  Now its time for the papers and embellishments...

New Years Project - Calendar 2021

I chose some Graphic 45 Papers as I wanted this to look good in my office year round.
Front pocket for pens, stamps, etc..

Easel Tag - New Years Eve/Day Crop.

This is a quick project and is a good way to use up leftover scraps from previous projects or could be an embellishment. Its a combination of chipboard and cardstock to create this easel style tag.
Button stopper for the easel.

Pocket for tags.

Back of tag.

Ringing in 2021 !

Calendar

Take out for dinner New Years Eve that was so good ! We wanted to support a local restaurant tonight and take a break from cooking.  I had an online scrappy event tonight with a huge group of girls.  We had party hats etc.. What. a nice way to still be with crafty friends from all over.  Since we still need to be safe this made the evening more fun.  The New Years Day Crop is starting with a calendar project.  I'm multitasking with a new sewing project and scrapbooking all at once.  So, hoping 2021 brings normalcy
Getting to use my new xmas gift - a new iron (which I haven't had in years) and new sewing rulers etc..  Using my fabric from a Maine trip.
