Carrot Ginger Mini Breads

Carrots, Pineapple, Applesauce, Coconut, Walnuts & Cream Cheese - How could you go wrong ?

 Just out of the oven..

Waiting for them to cool so I can taste them !
I made these baskets in class and they fit these mini breads perfectly.  I so loved the basket weave embossing folder and some ink to make the pattern stand out.

Easter touches...

Been trying to create a touch of spring here and there in my home so I thought I would share.  My newest edition ...he so reminds me of  Peter Rabbit from Beatrix Potter.

Thinking about planting and so I picked up two of these mason jar style flower pots.  My bunny here was on clearance last year after easter  so I am finally getting to put him out and enjoy him.

Found this metal sign that is like a vintage postcard.
A wall or door style (flat back) basket.

Making my hallway hutch look a little springy... ! I got the vine greenery at the dollar store.  I took out some antique flower plates from my mom that worked perfectly.

New stuff...

Something new....Tim Holtz new ink color called Cracked Pistachio (so pretty) and a new paper company for me to try called Trimcraft.
Really liking these metal word dies (Penny Black-Hugs, Kisses, and I Love You) in one package and Impression Obsession in the other. They are small and perfect for cards or scrap pages when you don't want to fight with a machine to die cut these.

Some papers are double sided and some are not.  Some have a shimmer and a few had a touch of gloss.  Great for shabby chic look or garden tea.

Pretty for bags, boxes or cards.

They are a nice heavier weight paper. Will let you know how they fold....

Cadbury Egg...

Today I P-played with making a cute clear bag for this Cadbury Egg.  I cut some die cut flowers for the egg to sit in the bag.  Then I glue dotted a few small flower to the outside to finish off the look.

Thinking about spring !

This little basket  is so easy to make and fast to put together. All you need is a score board, scissors, and glue. I plan to make mini carrot/ginger breads to fit inside.  There's even  room for shredded paper to package it nicely. I embossed the outside and added a touch of ink to enhance the basket weave pattern

Love the natural look of twine to make some little baskets that could later be used for any occasion.

I've been wanting to try one of these chicks...Since I didn't have all the tools to make this my girlfriend made me a cutting file for my silhouette machine.  Makes it easier to do multiples....

 The Cadbury egg inside...
