A Covid Christmas 2020..

Been a strange year and been busy with Covid.  I did manage to get some things handmade this year but am behind in posting.  I made this card for my
dear friends that made a trip to Thailand and fell in love with the elephants.  Thought this Tim Holtz card would be perfect and make them smile in 2020.

Family Game Night !

Been awhile since I posted but life took on a change with COVID hitting and being home working.  I had started this in the late spring early summer and just finally got to finish all the details.  This is a 10 x 10 album.  Been cleaning up projects that I had started so I can get back to crafty time and all the new stuff I have planned.

Love the vinyl records!

Reminds me of a game show or the Brady Bunch with scrabble or circle a word paper.

When soda came in bottles..

Flashback on tv time and playing records..My girlfriend and I used to plan hold dance shows on her deck and we put out lawn chairs.

Waterfall for photos in 3 spots..

I remember I used to be ready at 6 pm for Walt Disney to come on with jiffy pop popcorn pj's and waiting for Lawerence Welk show to end...

Warm Cozy Mittens...

So I finally did it... I've always wanted to try making mittens from old sweaters.  Since this year started off with some sewing time so I thought I needed to try some items on my crafting bucket list and not just things on my other bucket list.  I started gathering old sweaters and trying to figure out what was a good sweater to try etc... I even had an office coworker donate a gorgeous shrunken sweater to my cause.  As a result I have a basket full of sweaters in my craft room, fabric from sewing projects and scrapbooking all happening at once.  Hard for me as it not organized and pretty anymore but I am happily creating things.

These home made mittens are awesome. They fit so nice and are so much warmer and more comfortable than store bought.  Guess what this pair is made out of..?

Christmas 2020 album is completed !

Loved this Authentique paper this past year and made more than one project with it. Since we are home dealing with the Corona Virus I got my album done ahead of time.  Working from home has been a challenge but getting to craft at night is a great outlet for me.

The makings of a Special Birthday card..

Thought I would show the stages of this card..

Colored in my stamp and now I'm ready to die cut her out.

Ice Skating anyone ???

Made this card for my childhood girlfriend... Its her birthday in Feb and we used to skate together a lot when we were younger.  She loves purple so I made the skirt and mittens in her favorite color.

Here you can see the glitter dots I added to the snowy background.

I pop dotted her for some dimension.

The tree background and pond in this is one background die.  So glad I bought it as I have several stamps that I can use with this die.

Winter Cocoa and friends....

I did stamp the Merry Christmas banner after this photo and added it to the top of the card.  It added a finishing touch.  Its always fun getting to do some coloring. The background tree's are one new die and I thought it went perfect with some of the new stamps I've bought recently.  Its so versatile. Thinking great in black for Halloween also.  Ready to have a stamping/coloring day with hot cocoa and friends...

Icebergs and penguins !!!!

Added some white dots to the scarf and lines to the other scarf to make them stand out.  Glitter to the ear muffs and iceberg.

Here you can see the clear dots of snow on the pink paper behind the penguin.
