Journal - Remember these ??

Needed something for the camper and couldn't resist this paper.  Been a long time since I did a simple project like this.  Great way to jazz up an office space and keeping meeting notes in.  Also a nice get well gift hmmm...think I have someone in mind.

I am keeping notes of good campgrounds and favorite spots we stay at in them.  I also sometimes add notes of places I want to go back and see if we return to that area.  I also have a place to keep track of things I need to pack or we are out of for our next trip.

My Christmas album is done for 2019 ! I cut some tags in blacks and reds with my silhouette machine for all the pockets..  A used my favorite doily die for the cover.  I knew right away I just had to use this image for the cover with the plaid paper.

This was a quick album with such great papers that it made it easy to decorate.  I did some fussy cutting as this Santa was too cute to pass up. I turned him into a pocket on a flap.

So, I am almost finished working on next years Christmas album..I'm ahead of the game.  I will have it done and ready to add pictures. This was really fast and think I will do another one with a different theme. The cover, base of the book and hinge are done.  Just decorating now and thats going fast...

Paper Doll - Memories

What wonderful memories I have of my nieces.  Seems like yesterday they spent the day at my house making paper dolls, houses and cars out of shoe boxes.  This sweet  die reminded me of the wonderful time with them.  My niece recently asked me if I remembered that day and I was touched that she did especially now that she is a mom herself.  Maybe we will teach the next generation the fun of crafting and most of all the time created together !   Off to assemble some more cards as I want to send them each one to see if it triggers their memory...

This white heart is indented.. the entire pink decorative paper is raised off the front of the card to allow my doll to pop out of the heart.  The various size hearts create a feeling of happiness flowing out of the heart.
