Opening the card - You can see the front of the card is shorter than the back. I added red ribbon and used a snowflake embossing folder to spruce up the white background front.
Tri fold mini album made out of chipboard that also can be made with just cardstock. Quick project for gift giving.
Pull out pocket pages that creates 4 additional pages.
I decided to wait to do more decorating after the photos are added in.
Flat stickers from the sticker sheet and a sizzix die cut tree create the cover. I splatter painted the trees to create the snowy look using an old toothbrush.
Love this card. I have a new embossing folder that has snowflakes smaller in scale and closer together to create a real snowy feeling. I used dies and punches to create the snowman, greeting, and snowflake. A touch of bling to the center of the snowflake finished it off. I also used my white gel pen to perk up the scarf a little !
Getting ready for a crafty girls day... thinking this card series would be perfect to make. I loved pulling out fall papers, dies, and twine. The layering and shading makes such a difference.
Finished an album a couple of weeks ago so decided to start a rainy day project. Its been nice weather so I've been busy outside these days and doing some new crafts (knitting/sewing) kind of mutlitasking. This gatefold page came together nicely and met in the middle perfectly.
Section one is done ! Now for the cover and the last page which I have a precut, scored, and ready to go. Love trying all the new style albums. Thinking of making some base albums in multiples and then choosing papers.
Spring is around the corner... so I dug out my embossing folder and waterproof inks. A little fussy cutting that was pretty easy.
Playing with some watercolor today...Its really fun but I noticed some colors are easier than others. I find reds a little hard to perfect. This stamp set is so versatile and has a sense of humor !
