Santa Ornament

Posting pics of what I made with my Christmas Present.... a new cutting machine.  Upgrading has been done and I am off and running.  Nothing like trying to figure out the ins and outs once again but I always expand my knowledge.  A Santa ornament was perfect to try out the software and machine.














Sparkly pom pom's added the extra pizazz.  Sometimes having a ton of crafty stuff pays off as they were in my stash.  I used bakers twine for the cording and some glitter paper for the scalloped edges.  I am thinking about trying embossing folders to add texture.   A reindeer is up next.  A great crafty day once again !

Xmas balls ..

Xmas balls hanging from the branches of the tree...  

This was a little bit of a challenge getting each one stamped separately...  So much fun though to color and glitter. I created a xmas ball look with each circle. A top was added to the ball with some twine wrapped around the branch die cut.

Thought this sentiment was perfect for this card...

Santa !

I layered him and used pop dots and glitter to make him sparkle.  "Believe"cut out so nicely.  

 I found a nice color cardstock for his face which can be hard to find at times.  A pale pink for the nose.  Gray snowflake paper for the background.

Plaid Christmas window..

Looks like its snowing out the window !

Sprigs, bow, and Joy to finish it off.  The inside has a touch of plaid to match the outside.

Christmas 2017 is on its way...

Prepping for Christmas time... trying out the new Tim Holtz die! The presents, tree's and snowbanks are useful for other projects.  Tim's dies this year have been so much fun.  Liking the barn board look to the background.   

Recipe Album stage 2

Outside cover in the final stages. This album opens and folds out into 4 sections.  I started this before vacation so am finally getting back to wrapping this up.  Making progress now so it shouldn't be too long before I can call it done.  

Here is the inside of the far left side that has pockets.  I haven't finished all the inserts or decorative items but have most of the decorative paper is done. 

The left side in this photo shows that this page has clear protector sheets that hold recipe cards.  The right side is a large pocket  that has some depth to hold extras. The photo to the right shows it open, More to come when its final !

A little Witchiness !

 Just back from a long vacation and trying to catch up.  Realizing  Halloween is fast approaching... so got a little crafty time in to try out my new die.  Just love her !   My girlfriend loves Halloween so I think this one's for her !

Eggtime - Easter treat box 2017

Can't wait to add a little grass and some yummy candy eggs to fill them.  The design makes you smile.  I love that it was a quick cut, assembly and only 3 colors of paper.  The design comes with a paper bow but I wanted to use up some ribbon.
